Biografía del Artista: Born in 1942. Lives and works in Valencia. He has a degree and a PhD in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, is a full member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia and is a professor of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Valencia. In 1968 he obtained a scholarship for the Computing Center of the University of Madrid and carried out his first works with a computer there. In 2020 he was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts from the Ministry of Culture. In his most recent works he focuses on the study of color and the reflection on emptiness and time in space. In his canvases, geometry is present not as a volumetric element but as energy that tends to expand or concentrate, influencing emotions and mood. He has published numerous works including articles, presentations and communications and is the author of the books "Estructuras 1968-1972: Series Triangular-Cuadrado-Cubos-Prismas", "La cuarta medida. Methodological essay for the geometric projection of N-Dimensional structures” and co-author of “Hypergraphics. Visualizing Complex Relationship in Art, Science and Technology”. His work can be found in important museums in Spain, such as the Museo de Arte Abstracto de Cuenca, MNCARS, IVAM, and in renowned international collections, such as the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo do Espiritu Santo in Brazil, Centre de Recherches Visuelles, Empain, Brussels, Carpenter Center, Harvard University, USA, The Asahí Shimbun, Tokyo, Japan, Novgorod State Museum, Russia, among others.
